DO YOU ACCEPT AD-HOC BOOKINGS
Currently, I only accept regular weekly bookings, preferably on fixed days. This helps maintain consistency in scheduling and ensures that I can provide the best possible care for all the dogs under my supervision.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR DOGGY DAYCARE?
All dogs must pass a temperament test and be fully vaccinated, including the kennel cough vaccine, to ensure the safety and well-being of all our furry guests. While intact male puppies are welcome, they mustn't exhibit behaviours like humping or indoor marking.
However, male dogs aged 9 months or older must be neutered. Additionally, female puppies going through their first season cannot participate in walks or daycare during the 3-5 weeks and must be spayed afterwards. These measures are in place to maintain a safe and harmonious environment for all dogs in my care.
WHY YOU DON’T ACCEPT INTACT DOGS?
I prioritise the safety and well-being of all the dogs in my care. For this reason, I do not accept unspayed females or intact males. This policy helps maintain a harmonious and controlled environment, reducing the risk of conflicts and ensuring a positive experience for all our furry guests. Thank you for understanding.
ARE YOU Insured?
Yes, I am insured. I provide proof of my insurance policy along with the Terms and Conditions documents.
Is WAG & WHISK Open On The Holidays?
Yes, I am open all year round.
WHAT IF MY WALKER/SITTER IS SICK OR CAN’T MAKE A WALK OR HOUSE VISIT?
If I am unexpectedly sick or need to take a vacation (with a minimum of a few weeks' notice), I will try to arrange backup walkers who can cover your dog's walk.
ARE YOU AVAILABLE ON LAST-MINUTE NOTICE?
I will strive to accommodate last-minute requests, although availability is not guaranteed.
WHEN CAN I CANCEL A WALK / HOUSE VISIT WITHOUT BEING CHARGED?
Cancellations made 48 hours before the scheduled walk incur no fee. Cancellations within 24 hours may result in a 100% charge of the service rates.
HOW DO YOU TRANSPORT THE DOGS?
I cover a relatively small area, and my preferred mode of transportation is walking. This ensures the dogs get the necessary exercise and allows us to explore the neighbourhood safely together.
DO I HAVE TO BE IN WHEN YOU COLLECT OR DROP OFF MY DOG?
No, you don't have to be in when I collect or drop off your dog. Many of my clients provide me with a key or access instructions, and I'm DBS-checked for your peace of mind.
HOW LONG ARE THE ACTUAL WALKS?
The actual duration of our group walks is at least 60 minutes. I start tracking time from the moment I enter your home, not just the building, and typically conclude with about 3 minutes left on the clock for tasks such as bringing your pup back inside and any necessary cleaning.
Regarding daycare, our furry friends are out for approximately 3 to 5 hours per day, enjoying various activities and playtime.
WHAT ARE THE DAYCARE ACTIVITIES?
The daycare activities consist of 3 to 5 hours of outdoor time, which includes off-leash playtime, training sessions, and on-leash walks. Additionally, about 3 hours of indoor rest time is provided to ensure the dogs can relax and recharge between outdoor activities.

HOW MANY DOGS DO YOU HAVE AT DAYCARE?
Each day at my daycare is different, and the number of dogs varies, typically ranging from 2 to 5. However, I generally walk groups of 4 dogs at a time. This allows for a manageable and enjoyable experience for both the dogs and me.
WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN IT RAINS?
I get wet! I walk rain or shine. My clients tell me where I can find a towel on rainy days, and I will dry off your dog as much as I can.
HOW DO YOU PAIR THE DOGS?
I pair the dogs based on energy level, temperament, and location.
How Will I Know That My Dog Has Been Walked?
I share all walk updates, including videos and pictures, on my Instagram stories.
DO YOU GIVE THEM TREATS?
Only with the owner’s consent. I use grain-free, natural and baked treats only.
DAYCARE - PICK UP AND DROP OFF
Daycare pick-up is between 7:45 am and 9:30 am, and drop-off is anytime from 5:30 pm to 7 pm. Timing depends on your location and the number of dogs in the collection/drop-off schedule."
DAYCARE - IS IT POSSIBLE TO DROP OFF BEFORE 7:45 AM OR COLLECT MY DOG LATER THAN 7 PM?
I'm flexible with extending daycare hours as long as you can drop off or collect your dog. An additional charge of £5 applies for this service.
